A Dynamic New Look for Betty & Veronica

Article by Scott Tingley, December 17, 2006

Holy Cow! Check this out. Now I haven't read many Archie comics since I was a kid, but I loved Archie and Friends and I credit them with getting me started on comics. I have no idea how this is all going to play out, but I am interested and a tiny bit concerned if this is going to be the style they gravitate to, but....

If this is going to be an addition to the line, then great. The Sabrina and Josie and the Pussycats Manga styled stuff looks great. So does this new style (go to Newsarama.com to see a sample page to see more of what I am talking about), but again, only if it is an addition to the line. If the Archie people decide to eliminate the style fans are used to (which I don't think they are)...well, time will tell.

Archie hasn't survived for 65 years for nothing.
