One Year Later! Comics In The Classroom Turns One!

It has been a long year, but never in my wildest dreams did I think when I launched this thing twelve months ago that it would have grown as fast as it has. I first uploaded the site on October 22, 2005, and I am currently on my third version of the site – each getting more and more professional looking.

I could not have done it without a lot of great people giving me a hand along the way. John Taddeo, Ian Feller and Mike Bullock have given me support within the comic industry. My friends Christian and Kevin are my site design and graphic gurus. My Principal and School District have supported me along the way, as has my wife – letting me click-clack away at the keyboard for all hours of the night. Thank you to all of the people kind enough to send samples of their work for review, and thanks to my sponsors.

Finally, I would like to thank the new writers that have graciously offered their writing talents to CitC. John “Figaro” Norris came on board a couple of months ago to begin writing “THE CAT'S MEOW: What's Good on the Shelf This Week” column. Tracy Edmunds has written a couple of great pieces for me and writes the Newsarama.com all-ages column. Both have been terrific additions. Thanks so much.
