Comics in the Classroom Turns 2 Years Old!
Article by Scott Tingley, October 23, 2007

I'M A DAY LATE FOR MY OWN BIRTHDAY! I could have sworn that I first uploaded this thing on October 24, 2005, but no. Apparently it was October 22, 2005. No worries though. I'll stop giving myself the cold shoulder after a couple of days.

It's been another big year here. John Norris is still doing a great job on his weekly “Cat's Meow” reviews, Tracy Edmunds is still updating “The Big All-Ages List”, and I am still writing reviews, conducting interviews and showing off my poor punctuation skills to the world.

There have been a few new additions around here as well. For one thing, Mike Bullock, of Lions, Tigers and Bears fame, has provided me with forum space on his Runemaster Studios site. I have also started a Blog devoted to reviewing children's books – the regular kind. That has been a lot of fun. It gives me the chance to involve my wife and kids in all of this. Ooh. I almost forgot that Owly's Andy Runton created this cool logo for me. I have been waiting for his final “cleaned-up” version (his words) before adding it to the main page, but here is a sneak peek.

This site has given me a lot of opportunities that I would never have considered before. I have given a number of day workshops for my school district and I did two week long comic creating workshops this summer. I am looking forward to doing a lot more of that this year.

Thanks for everyone's support and keep clicking those ads!!!
